About Coach Shaw

I have 13 years of coaching experience with 9 years of coordinating experience, and one year as a head coach. I've had the opportunity to coach both collegiately in the U.S. and professionally in Europe. Originally from the northern suburbs of Chicago, these opportunities have taken me from Wisconsin, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Ohio, Indiana, and across the Atlantic ocean to Denmark, France, Germany, and Switzerland. I've also had multiple years of assisting and coordinating strength and conditioning programs.

I am currently an assistant coach at Manchester University after being the Head Coach at Fitchburg State University. Prior to that I was Offensive and Recruiting Coordinator at Elmhurst University. Before Elmhurst, I was the Offensive Coordinator and Strength and Conditioning Coordinator at Hiram College, a DIII institution in northeast Ohio. Prior to Hiram, I was the Director of Football Operations and Offensive Coordinator at Nichols College, a DIII institution in Massachusetts. While at Nichols we were able to break the school record for most points scored in a single season.

I graduated as a 4 year starter at quarterback from Wisconsin Lutheran College. I earned my B.A. in Psychology at WLC. I furthered my education at Nichols College, where I earned my M.S. in Organizational Leaderhip, and graduated as a member of the Delta Mu Delta International Business Honor Society.
